PROFILE

Wilson earned his professional certification at the Hallmark Institute of Photography and continued his education at New York's International Center of Photography.

Insightful Imaging®, Wilson’s unique approach to photography, is based on the concept of blending understanding, creativity and technique to match the visual and cultural dynamics of the moment. The result is images that are genuine, emotion stirring and true to the character of the subjects. Wilson’s style is so distinctive that he was awarded a federal trademark by the United States Patent & Trademark Office.

Wilson’s portraiture was featured in a gallery exhibit at Technicolor Grand. His performing arts images are featured at the State Theatre Center for the Arts, where selected images from his FREDDY© Awards coverage are on display. His images have been showcased worldwide, including magazine covers and a special feature in “Most Valuable Players”, a full length documentary about the FREDDY© Awards. He also adjudicated photography competitions and made appearances as a guest speaker/instructor.

Numerous community service and non-profit organizations benefitted from Wilson's contributions. Included among the 30+ groups are the American Red Cross, Community Services for Children and Habitat for Humanity. His donations exceeded $100,000 in value over the past decade.
